To use the Nivo-Slider you must do a few things,… First off ‘Open a New Post’ ,… Then, on the bottom right hand side of the dashboard there is a section titled ‘Featured Image’ ,… Go there and press the link. A dialog box will pop up. Choose select file, or you may also choose up top in black from ‘URL’ or ‘Media’. Whichever you choose another dialog box will appear. If you have a super large photo, crop it before uploading it, as the WordPress Crop feature does not always work properly. Anyways, fill out the caption and other items. where it says Thumbnail, Medium, Large size photos that is for the Post Page, it will not effect the size of the Feature Slider photo. The important thing now is next to the ‘Insert Into Post’ button there is a Link that says something like ‘Set as Featured Photo” press this,… Once pressed it will disappear. Then Press ‘Insert into Post’. After thinking about what is next the screen should go back to the regular Post screen with a picture of the Feature Photo up top,… Then all you have to do is type your Post, Select “Feature on the Right hand side of the screen under the Categories section, Add Tags and Press Publish,…. Walla a Post with a Feature Photo on the main site screen.
